How much does Family Care Connect cost?+

We offer flexible plans with full access: €9.99 per month, €99.99 per year (save about 17% vs monthly), or €5.99 per month for co-parenting / shared custody spaces. Standard monthly and yearly plans include a free 7-day trial before billing starts. Co-parenting / shared custody spaces use the dedicated co-parenting monthly plan (see Pricing).

What is the co-parenting / shared custody option?+

When you create a space, choose child shared custody if you are separated parents coordinating children. You get custody scheduling, co-parent invites, messaging, and the same secure space—without mixing it into the standard family-care monthly/yearly plans.

How is co-parenting pricing different from parent care?+

Parent-care spaces can use monthly or yearly billing with a 7-day trial. Child shared custody spaces use the co-parenting plan (priced separately on our Pricing page). Billing in the app follows your space type so you are always on the correct plan.

Is there a free trial?+

Yes for standard parent-care monthly and yearly plans—new accounts can start with a free 7-day trial. Co-parenting spaces use the dedicated co-parenting monthly plan; see Pricing for current rates.

Is Family Care Connect a medical service or emergency tool?+

No. Family Care Connect is a coordination app for families and co-parents—it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or a qualified healthcare provider immediately.

How is my care information kept secure?+

Spaces are invite-only. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored using Supabase with access controls and role-based security policies. Read our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling and GDPR rights.

How do push notifications work on mobile?+

On iOS and Android, the app can send notifications for messages, schedule changes, medication reminders, and appointments when you are signed in and notifications are enabled. Web browsers do not register for the same push flow—use the mobile apps for alerts when you are away.

Who is Family Care Connect best for?+

Adults coordinating care for parents, partners, or other loved ones—and separated parents who need one place for custody schedules, handovers, and updates without endless texts and separate calendars.

Can multiple family members or co-parents collaborate in one space?+

Yes. Invite siblings, relatives, carers, or co-parents into the same private space so everyone sees the same schedule, messages, daily log (parent care), or custody calendar (shared custody).

How quickly can we get started?+

Most families or co-parents set up a space in minutes. Create an account, choose parent care or child shared custody, invite members, and follow the in-app onboarding flow.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?+

Open the app, go to Settings, and use the billing portal to change or cancel your plan. For help, contact support@familycareconnect.ie or submit a ticket on the Contact page.
